Gutta Resist is made from natural Gutta Percha to produce the finest resist available. Resist is used to draw the borders of an image on silk, stopping the flow of the dye at the resist lines. The resist should be completely dry before applying the dye. Gutta can be removed by dry cleaning so the colored guttas should not be dry cleaned. Store in a cool place out of direct sunlight. The shelf life for Jacquard Gutta Resist is approximately 6 months. Gutta Solvent is used to thin the Gutta Resist.
