One box of powdered dye colors 1 lb. dry weight or about 3 yds. medium weight fabric to a light or medium color. Liquid dye colors 2 lbs. dry fabric. Use double the quantity of dye for dark or bright colors such as black, navy blue, cocoa brown, purple, scarlet, etc. Use RIT Color Remover before dying fabric to a lighter or different color.
